Elementallis brings 16-bit Zelda-style puzzles to PC and consoles

Indie developer Iván Ruiz Lozano has officially launched Elementallis, a 16-bit action-adventure game heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Oracle of Seasons. The game is available today on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.

Elementallis tasks players with restoring the elements to the world. The core gameplay loop revolves around acquiring different elemental powers—such as fire, wind and water—and using them not just in combat, but to solve intricate dungeon puzzles and manipulate the environment. The pixel art style is vibrant and authentic to the SNES era it emulates.

Early reviews from players are praising the game's clever puzzle design and tight controls, though some note the combat is relatively simple. For fans looking for a classic, top-down adventure experience, Elementallis appears to be a strong addition to the genre.
