Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Switch 2 file size is over 100GB

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is not arriving quietly on Switch 2 storage. New eShop listings put the game at 102.5GB, which is a very large “please check your microSD situation” warning for anyone planning to download it. eFootball Kick-Off is also listed at 39.1GB, while Police Simulator: Patrol Officers sits at 5.9GB and Isekai Villain’s Switch 2 Edition comes in at 2.0GB. File-size news is not glamorous, but it is practical, especially on a new Nintendo platform where players are still figuring out storage habits. Massive RPGs, sports titles and ports are going to make space management a real issue again. The Switch 2 library is filling quickly, which is good. The downside is that players may now spend as much time deleting old games as they do playing new ones. Rebirth is worth space, but it definitely wants a lot of it.
