Isekai Villain heads to Switch 2 and Switch on June 5

Kemco is bringing Isekai Villain to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on June 5, and the twist is refreshingly simple: this time you are not the pure-hearted hero. The JRPG follows an isekai setup from the villain side, which is a smart little angle for a genre that has spent years dropping ordinary people into fantasy worlds and immediately handing them destiny paperwork. Exe Create is developing, with the Switch 2 Edition offering higher resolution, improved text visibility and mouse-control support through Joy-Con 2 features. That sounds small, but for turn-based RPGs and menu-heavy adventures, readability and interface comfort matter a lot. Kemco’s RPGs have a reliable niche audience because they are familiar, affordable and straightforward. Isekai Villain could stand out if the villain perspective gives the story more bite than the usual chosen-one march through monsters and towns.
