Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition gets PS5 and Xbox Series physical release today

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition gets its physical PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S release today, giving collectors a boxed version of Warhorse Studios’ upgraded medieval RPG. The current-gen version arrived digitally earlier this year with major improvements including 4K support, improved frame rate, high-resolution textures and other visual upgrades that bring the console experience much closer to PC Ultra settings. The Royal Edition is the best way to experience the original game in one package because it includes the base adventure and additional content. For players who discovered the series through Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, this physical release is a good excuse to revisit Henry’s first journey. The original is slower, rougher and less immediately accessible than many modern RPGs, but that is also part of its identity. It aims for grounded medieval life, awkward early combat, social consequences and a world where the player starts as nobody special. The physical edition also matters in a year where digital ownership keeps coming under scrutiny. For collectors, this is the one to put on the shelf.
