A Frog’s Job 2: Froggina hops to Switch this week

A Frog’s Job 2: Froggina is heading to Nintendo Switch on May 29, which means frog souls, time control and platforming stress are apparently back on the menu. Ratalaika Games and 9Ratones are bringing the sequel to Switch as a digital release priced at $4.99.

The hook is charmingly odd: after dying, the player is offered a job by the Frog God, collecting lost frog souls with the ability to stop and resume time. That gives the puzzle platformer a clean mechanical identity beyond simply jumping over spikes and hoping your amphibian dignity survives.

The game mixes 2D and 3D visuals, includes four biomes and lets players use a goo projectile as a traversal tool. This is not a giant release, but that is the point. Switch lives on these smaller eShop curiosities, and a time-stopping frog-reaper platformer has exactly enough weirdness to stand out for players who like compact indie challenges.
