Cooperative shooter sequel Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 has secured its official release slot in Microsoft's upcoming late-August schedule for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Developed by Cold Iron Studios in partnership with 20th Century Games, the sequel expands on the intense three-player cooperative survival combat against relentless Xenomorph swarms. Players will wield upgraded pulse rifles, deployable turrets, smartguns, and specialized combat classes across claustrophobic subterranean hives and derelict Weyland-Yutani research facilities.
Building on community feedback from the first entry, Fireteam Elite 2 introduces deeper procedural mission modifiers, expanded campaign acts, and enhanced cross-platform matchmaking.
