Apex Legends Launches Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Crossover

The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover begins in Apex Legends today and is scheduled to run until August 4. Respawn's confirmed event gives the E-District map a temporary Night City-inspired visual makeover and introduces themed cosmetics based on characters from the animated series and Cyberpunk 2077.

The event also adds Cyberware mechanics to Wildcard mode, including Sandevistan-enhanced movement and a Blackwall Breach ability that disrupts opponents. A Mythic Alternator inspired by the talking weapon Skippy is positioned as one of the headline rewards.

The collaboration is more substantial than a simple costume bundle because it temporarily changes both presentation and gameplay. Players should note that the Cyberware additions are tied to the event's faster Wildcard format rather than representing a permanent overhaul of standard Apex Legends matches.
