Arcade Archives Ace Driver launches today

Arcade Archives Ace Driver launches today, bringing Namco’s 1994 arcade racer back onto modern platforms. Arcade Archives 2 Ace Driver is available on PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2, while the standard Arcade Archives version comes to PS4 and Switch.

Ace Driver is one of those 90s arcade racing games where the cabinet was part of the fantasy: loud, fast, physical and designed to make every corner feel like a public performance. Bringing it back through Arcade Archives gives racing fans and preservation nerds another slice of Namco history beyond the usual obvious names.

HAMSTER is also offering upgrade pricing between versions, which is a nice touch for collectors. Modern racing games chase realism, licenses and massive maps. Ace Driver is a reminder that sometimes racing just needs speed, handling and the confidence to shout at you from a cabinet.
