Arcade Archives Ace Driver launches May 28, bringing Namco’s 1994 arcade racer back with modern platform support. Arcade Archives 2 Ace Driver will arrive on PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2, while Arcade Archives Ace Driver comes to PS4 and Switch.

The original Ace Driver was all about fast arcade racing, handling, dramatic tracks and the type of steering that made 90s arcade cabinets feel like expensive gym equipment for your wrists. HAMSTER is also offering upgrade pricing for players moving from the standard Arcade Archives version to Arcade Archives 2.

This is a neat preservation pick because racing games are often harder to keep alive than platformers or shooters, especially when hardware, cabinet design and handling feel are part of the memory. Ace Driver may be niche, but bringing it back gives arcade racing fans another slice of Namco history to revisit.
