Azula has been revealed for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, giving the roster one of Avatar’s most dangerous and theatrical villains. That is a smart pick. Azula is not just another firebender; she is precision, arrogance, pressure and psychological collapse wrapped in blue flame.
The official description leans into her unraveling psyche and perfectionism, which is exactly the sort of character identity a fighting game can build around. Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Ozai, Zaheer and Kyoshi were already confirmed, with Samurai Appa also planned as DLC.
Azula adds a different kind of threat because players will expect speed, control, lightning and a playstyle that feels cruelly efficient. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is heading to Switch 2 and Switch on July 2, 2026. The roster is now starting to look properly dangerous.
