Big Walk comes to Switch 2 on August 4

Big Walk launches for Switch 2 on August 4, and the pitch sounds exactly like something from the creators of Untitled Goose Game: peaceful world, strange communication problems, teamwork and plenty of room for accidental nonsense. Big Walk is a cooperative multiplayer adventure built around friends exploring together, solving puzzles, staying in contact and finding new ways to communicate when speech is suddenly taken away.

That is a great design hook because co-op games are often most memorable when communication breaks down. The world looks relaxed, but the player behavior will probably be anything but.

Switch 2 is a natural home for a game like this because local and online play can both feed the comedy. If Big Walk captures even part of Untitled Goose Game’s mischievous social energy, it could become a summer multiplayer favorite.
