Blue Ridge Hunting enters Early Access in August

Blue Ridge Hunting will launch into Early Access on PC in August, and it sounds like the kind of horror game built for players who think the woods would be nicer with more evidence boards and fewer mysterious screams. The game supports one to three players and sends teams into Appalachia to investigate cryptids, gather clues and survive whatever is stalking the trees.

Early Access is a sensible fit because co-op horror depends heavily on balance: enemy behavior, mission pacing, communication pressure and how quickly fear turns into comedy when a friend panics. The setting gives Blue Ridge Hunting a useful identity.

Appalachian folklore has deep atmosphere, and cryptid hunting gives the game a clearer investigative structure than simply wandering through darkness hoping something makes noise. If the loop works, this could become a good streamer-friendly scare machine.
