Clockwork Revolution becomes Xbox console exclusive for 2027

Clockwork Revolution returned with a big new trailer, and Xbox confirmed the inXile RPG will be an Xbox console exclusive when it launches in 2027. That matters because the game is one of the clearest examples of Microsoft trying to rebuild exclusive identity.

The new footage introduced Morgan’s gang, the Rotten Row Hooligans, a heist gone wrong, the Chronometer, and a version of Avalon where time is not just a story idea but a weapon. The game still invites BioShock Infinite comparisons because of its steampunk visual language, but inXile’s role-playing background could make it much more reactive and choice-driven.

” It is a world where changes ripple forward and decisions bend history. If that systems promise is real, Clockwork Revolution could become Xbox’s most interesting new RPG pillar.
