Control Resonant makes 48-hour early access a PS5-only perk

Control Resonant is already generating a little platform drama before launch. Remedy has confirmed that the Deluxe Edition’s 48-hour advanced access is exclusive to PS5, even though the game is also coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC.

That is not the end of the world, but it is exactly the kind of detail that makes players on other platforms roll their eyes. Advanced access has become one of the stranger modern preorder incentives: not quite content, not quite a bonus, but a way to turn release timing itself into a paid perk.
