Crimson Desert has crossed six million sales, which is a major milestone for Pearl Abyss’ open-world action RPG. The game launched in March for PS5, Xbox Series and PC, and the number suggests its long post-launch strategy is working. Crimson Desert always had a big challenge: prove it was more than stunning trailers and vast landscapes.

Six million sales says players are responding to the combat, world and ongoing support. It also gives Pearl Abyss room to keep expanding the game through free updates and long-tail improvements. In 2026, big games are not judged only by launch week.
