Cronos: The New Dawn reveals Lazarus DLC

Cronos: The New Dawn is getting Lazarus DLC, giving Bloober Team a chance to expand one of its newer horror worlds without immediately jumping to a full sequel. That is a sensible move.
Cronos built a setting with enough mystery and atmosphere to support side stories, deeper lore and focused new nightmares. A DLC-sized follow-up can also be sharper than a bloated sequel if the team uses it to explore a specific character, place or unresolved thread.
Horror expansions work best when they do not simply add more monsters, but reveal new ways the world is broken. Lazarus is also an excellent horror title because it immediately suggests resurrection, failed salvation and something that probably should have stayed buried. If Bloober uses it well, this could be more than a small content drop.
