Crosswinds announced as a sky-set romantic adventure game

Crosswinds has been announced for PC, and it brings one of the more charming pitches of the day: a romantic adventure set in the skies above a fictional 1930s Mediterranean coast. Octeto Studios, the developer behind Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire, is building the game around flight, travel, relationships and a world where the sky is not just a backdrop but the main road.

That gives Crosswinds a clean identity. It is not another grim survival game or combat-heavy action RPG.

It sounds more like a story-driven journey where atmosphere, character bonds and navigation matter. The lack of a release date means this is still early, but the concept has immediate appeal. There is always room for games that use adventure not as a synonym for combat, but as a feeling of movement, longing and discovery.
