Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition hits Switch 2 on June 23

By GFA Staff · June 10, 2026

Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition is coming to Switch 2 on June 23, and Dante, Nero and Vergil are arriving with the subtlety of a flaming motorcycle through a stained-glass window.

Capcom’s Switch 2 version includes the high-speed stylish action the game is known for, plus downloadable content and Vergil as a playable character.

Nintendo’s recap also highlights 60 fps in both TV and handheld modes, which matters because Devil May Cry is all about feel: timing, cancel windows, juggling enemies, style ranking and making combat look like a music video directed by a demon with excellent hair. If Switch 2 can hold the action cleanly, this is a great third-party flex for Nintendo’s hardware. It also gives players one more reason to practice combos they will absolutely mess up under pressure.
