Dog Man: Bark in Action announced for consoles and PC

Dog Man: Bark in Action has been announced for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, and it is aiming squarely at the family platforming crowd. The game comes from Mindscape and Floor 84 Studio, and the title alone tells you it is not here to deliver a grim meditation on violence.

It is here for side-scrolling adventure, colorful action and a recognizable license that younger players can immediately understand. Licensed family games can be tricky because they often rely too heavily on the brand and forget the feel, but the best ones understand simple movement, readable goals and jokes that do not require a wiki.

Dog Man has a strong audience outside games, so the real test will be whether Bark in Action turns that recognition into a fun, clean platforming adventure rather than just an interactive merchandise shelf.
