Dog Man: Bark in Action announced for consoles and PC

Dog Man: Bark in Action has been announced, and it is aiming straight at the family platforming crowd. Mindscape and Floor 84 Studio are bringing the side-scrolling adventure to PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. The Dog Man brand gives it instant recognition with younger players, but licensed family games still need good feel to survive.

Simple movement, readable goals, light comedy and enough variety will matter more than the logo on the box. This is not trying to be a grim prestige action game. It is trying to be colorful, accessible and fun for kids who already know the character.

If it plays cleanly, it could become a neat family pickup.
