DOOM: The Dark Ages gets Revelations DLC on July 7

DOOM: The Dark Ages is getting a new campaign expansion called Revelations on July 7, because apparently the Slayer has not finished making Hell regret its scheduling decisions. The DLC sends him into a merciless purgatory, adds new levels, deeper puzzles, new enemies and the Chain Spear as a fresh combat tool.
That last bit matters because DOOM lives on movement and aggression. A new weapon is not just a toy; it changes how players approach space, distance and violence. The Dark Ages already pushed the series into a heavier medieval slaughter fantasy, so Revelations has room to go weirder and nastier.
The key is pace. DOOM expansions work when they make veterans rethink their instincts without turning the game into homework. July 7 should show whether id still has new ways to make demons extremely nervous.
