Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Expands Character Creation With Android Race

Bandai Namco has provided a closer look at Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3's character customization systems following this week's gameplay reveal. The sequel offers six avatar races, with Android joining the lineup as a new option. Players will explore an Age 1000 version of West City and develop their created fighter through mentors, abilities, transformations and customizable fighting styles. Bandai Namco says the city contains quests, social spaces and collectible items that feed back into character development. Xenoverse 3 is confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The addition of Androids marks a long-requested feature for the Xenoverse franchise. Players can customize mechanical and bio-android aesthetics, choosing between infinite stamina energy engines, energy-absorption cybernetics, and sleek futuristic fashion inspired by Dr. Gero's research. Alongside Earthlings, Saiyans, Namekians, Majins, and Frieza Clan, the Androids provide distinct tactical advantages and unique transformation paths.

The transition to an Age 1000 West City hub introduces massive urban verticality, capsule corporation testing grounds, and interactive social districts where time patrollers can assemble for co-op raids. With a planned release in 2027, Xenoverse 3 aims to deliver the ultimate anime sandbox experience.
