Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen brings Norgan to Switch 2 on October 9

By GFA Staff · June 10, 2026

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is coming to Switch 2 on October 9, and Capcom is using the enhanced edition to add a new icy region called Norgan.

That is exactly the kind of expansion Dragon’s Dogma fans understand: new land, new monsters, new rare spoils and probably at least one enemy that makes you regret climbing it.

The base game’s pawn-driven adventure already had a strong identity, but Dark Arisen gives Capcom a chance to sharpen the experience and add high-end challenges for returning players. The Switch 2 version is especially notable because Dragon’s Dogma 2 is not a lightweight game. If Capcom can make the open-world chaos, pawn systems and monster battles work well on Nintendo hardware, it will be another sign that Switch 2 is being treated as a serious third-party platform.
