Famitsu most-wanted chart keeps Pokémon Winds and Waves on top

Famitsu’s latest most-wanted chart is out, and Pokémon Winds and Waves is still sitting at number one with 551 votes. Splatoon Raiders follows with 435, while Ganbare Goemon Daishuugo and Rhythm Heaven Fever also remain high.
Persona 4 Revival leads the PlayStation side at number five, with Grand Theft Auto 6, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave also appearing in the top ten. The interesting new signal is Star Fox for Nintendo Switch 2 making its first appearance, which shows Nintendo’s space animals still have some pull when the hardware conversation is hot.
Famitsu charts are not perfect market predictors, but they are useful cultural signals. Right now, Japanese reader anticipation is very clearly clustered around Switch 2, big RPGs and familiar Nintendo franchises.
