Final Fantasy VII Revelation gets new Switch 2 screenshots

Final Fantasy VII Revelation already dominated Summer Game Fest conversation, and now Switch 2 owners have another reason to stare at it closely: the first Nintendo Switch 2 screenshots are out. The game is the final entry in the remake trilogy, following Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, both already available on Switch 2.

That platform context matters. Square Enix is no longer treating this trilogy as a narrow PlayStation-centered project.

Revelation is being built as a much broader multiplatform release, and Switch 2 is part of that plan. The screenshots are not enough to answer every technical question, but they are a useful sign that the Nintendo version is not an afterthought. The real test will be performance when Square finally shows deeper direct-feed gameplay.
