Hades 2 gets a big June hotfix on Switch and Switch 2

By GFA Staff · June 4, 2026

Hades 2 is getting another June update, and while this one is mostly a hotfix, the patch notes are long enough to make the underworld’s admin department nervous. Supergiant is addressing Dream Dive issues, boon interactions, narrative events, visual bugs, enemy behavior, crashes and a pile of smaller improvements.

That may not sound glamorous, but roguelikes live on trust. If a boon interaction breaks, a reward fails or a boss behaves strangely, an entire run can feel unfair.

Hades 2 is also still in the delicate stage where every update helps shape how players judge the full package. The Switch and Switch 2 versions will receive the update soon, and the patch shows Supergiant doing what it usually does well: listen, tune, fix and keep the rhythm steady. Sometimes the best content update is simply making the game behave.
