Halo: Campaign Evolved shows Assault on the Control Room gameplay

Halo: Campaign Evolved continues to prove it is more than a clean coat of paint. Halo Studios released new gameplay walkthroughs covering Assault on the Control Room and a third-person look at The Silent Cartographer. That is a smart showcase choice.

Those missions are part of Combat Evolved’s mythology, built around wide combat spaces, vehicles, enemy variety and that classic Halo feeling of improvising through chaos. The third-person option remains one of the more interesting additions, because it changes how players see Master Chief without necessarily changing what made the campaign work. The remake launches July 28 across Xbox, PC and PS5.

Old console-war ghosts may not like it, but Halo’s ring is clearly going multiplatform.
