Halo: Campaign Evolved story trailer was captured on PS5 Pro

Halo: Campaign Evolved continues to be one of the strangest and most important Xbox stories of the week. Halo Studios has released the official story trailer for the remake, and Gematsu notes the footage was captured on PlayStation 5 Pro.

That sentence would have sounded illegal in 2004. The remake launches July 28 across Xbox, PC and PS5, with Game Pass support on Xbox and PC, and adds new Operation: METEORITE prequel missions with Master Chief and Sgt.

Johnson. The PS5 angle will still make old console-war ghosts rattle their chains, but the wider release makes business sense. Halo’s campaign legacy is too important to keep speaking only to one room. The question now is whether Campaign Evolved feels reverent, modern and necessary, not just historically loud.
