Hell Clock is heading to PS5 and Xbox Series on July 14, and the console launch is arriving alongside the game’s first major expansion, Cursed War. That is a smart way to make the port feel like an event rather than a late arrival.
Hell Clock mixes action RPG depth with roguelike speed and a dark retelling of Brazil’s War of Canudos, which already gives it a much more specific historical identity than the average demon-smashing dungeon crawl. Cursed War expands the story into the Paraguayan War, adding a new act, new skills and more of Pajeu’s past.
The base idea is strong: descend into Purgatory and Hell under a ticking time limit, die, revive and push deeper. If the console controls land well, this could find a new audience.
