HITMAN Classic Trilogy Remastered brings Agent 47’s old contracts back

HITMAN Classic Trilogy Remastered has been announced, which means Agent 47’s older murders are getting a new suit, a cleaner shave and hopefully fewer ancient control frustrations. The remaster package is coming to PS5, Xbox Series and PC in 2027, covering the classic-era games that helped shape Hitman’s identity before World of Assassination perfected the modern sandbox formula. This is a good preservation move because older Hitman titles still matter.

They show the series learning how to turn stealth, disguise, timing and dark comedy into something uniquely its own. But nostalgia can only carry so much. The remaster needs interface comfort, performance improvements and enough quality-of-life work to make the old contracts approachable for players who met 47 through the newer trilogy.

If it lands, this could be a very tidy history lesson in assassination.
