Honkai: Star Rail's next major stop is September 28. Version 4.6, Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, introduces a new main mission alongside Pearl, a five-star Ice character, and additional cosmetic and collaboration content. New outfits for Hyacine and Evanescia are among the additions, while a collaboration with gaming-hardware company Razer extends the update beyond the game itself. HoYoverse has maintained Star Rail's momentum through a remarkably regular sequence of story chapters, characters and events, and 4.6 continues that cadence rather than functioning as a lightweight maintenance patch. Pearl will naturally attract much of the attention because new five-star characters can alter team-building possibilities, but the main mission is arguably more important for players invested in Star Rail's increasingly elaborate universe. Maintaining narrative momentum while continuously adding characters is one of the game's trickiest balancing acts. Version 4.6 arrives globally on September 28. Veteran Trailblazers therefore have approximately one week to finish outstanding business, hoard whatever resources they have not already spent and perform the traditional ritual of convincing themselves that this time the gacha will definitely be merciful.
