Gothic 1 Remake and Unlucky Mummy give June 5 a strange release mix

June 5’s release slate is a strange little spread, which is honestly how modern game calendars should be. On one side, Gothic 1 Remake brings a full cult-RPG revival to PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

On the other, Unlucky Mummy offers a tiny cursed clicker about opening a sarcophagus and trying not to disappoint probability itself. There are also cloud and smaller releases floating around the calendar, but the contrast between Gothic and Unlucky Mummy is the fun part.

One is a huge atmospheric RPG about faction politics, prison colonies and dangerous wilderness. The other is a compact indie about relic odds and mummy resurrection. That is the modern industry in one day: massive remakes, tiny oddities, live events and storefront chaos all sharing the same calendar square.
