Kyoto Xanadu introduces Kazuki Nakiri in new trailer

Kyoto Xanadu has another character trailer, and this one introduces Kazuki Nakiri, a feared lone-wolf delinquent at Hirasaka Academy. Falcom character trailers are basically a ritual at this point: feed fans one personality at a time until the party lineup starts feeling familiar before launch.

Kazuki sounds like the type of character who appears reckless but has more tactical awareness than people expect, which is exactly the sort of archetype Falcom loves to build into a larger ensemble. The game launches in Japan and Asia on July 16 for PS5, Switch 2, Switch and PC, with a western release also planned.

As the follow-up to Tokyo Xanadu, this entry needs to prove its Kyoto setting is more than a visual refresh. Strong cast chemistry will be key. Kazuki now has his turn to make an impression.
