Last Harbor turns your boat into a survival base in 2027

By GFA Staff · June 6, 2026

Last Harbor was revealed at Summer Game Fest, and its best idea is immediately clear: your base is not a cabin, bunker or sad little wooden box. It is a boat. tinyBuild’s new open-world multiplayer survival crafting game sends players into a deadly zombie wasteland where the vessel becomes a mobile hub for crafting, fishing, cooking, upgrading gear and pushing deeper into danger.

That is a neat twist because survival crafting games are often obsessed with static bases. A boat makes movement, risk and logistics part of the identity. The persistent multiplayer angle also adds tension.

Meeting another player in the wild could become cooperation, betrayal or a very loud mistake that attracts something worse than both of you. If Last Harbor balances social risk with meaningful exploration, 2027 survival fans may have a new floating obsession.
