LEGO Batman gets a September 18 Switch 2 date

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is officially coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 18, giving Nintendo players a date for TT Games’ open-world Bat-comedy adventure. The game already launched on PS5, Xbox Series and PC in May, but Switch 2 is an especially natural fit for LEGO games.

These are family-friendly, portable-friendly, couch-co-op-friendly products that do not need to pretend they are gritty prestige dramas to work. The Switch 2 version also arrives with Mayhem DLC and a new release-date trailer, which helps make it feel like a proper late port rather than a leftover.

The bigger point is that Switch 2 is quickly becoming a serious third-party home. If publishers can bring family titles, RPGs, ports and retro releases at a steady pace, Nintendo’s platform will have a much healthier first year.
