LET IT DIE: INFERNO Season 3 is now live, and it sounds like the developers looked at Hell Gate and thought: nice, but what if mushrooms made it worse? The new season introduces Yotsuyama Castle, a white fungal fortress that used to be an armory before becoming a biotech nightmare.
Players get three new weapons, including a Metal Whip, Plasma Laser and Executioner, plus new bodies, armor sets, a Raiders Fund donation system, Mastery switching and new music options. That is a lot of content for a seasonal update, and it fits the LET IT DIE tone perfectly: weird, violent, ugly in a fun way and somehow always one bad decision away from a corpse run.
Season 3 runs through September 7.
