Metaphor: ReFantazio is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, giving ATLUS another major RPG presence on Nintendo’s new hardware. That is a very strong get for Switch 2 because Metaphor was one of the most acclaimed modern fantasy RPGs from the Persona creative orbit, built around a political tournament, Archetype powers, party bonds and a world that turns social fear into mythic conflict.
On Switch 2, it becomes more portable and more accessible to players who may have skipped the original release. The important question is performance, but the strategic value is already clear.
Nintendo’s platform is becoming a major RPG destination quickly, with Final Fantasy, Xenoblade, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Tales and ATLUS all lining up. Metaphor adds one more heavyweight to that pile.
