Mina the Hollower sells over 500,000 copies

By GFA Staff · June 9, 2026

Mina the Hollower has now sold over 500,000 copies, which is a huge milestone for Yacht Club Games’ first big step outside the Shovel Knight shadow. The game reportedly sold 300,000 copies in its first three days and has now pushed past the half-million mark across platforms.

That matters because the studio had been under real pressure before launch, and Mina’s success gives Yacht Club breathing room without cuts or outside investment. It also proves that players were willing to follow the studio into a new world: darker, gothic, Game Boy Color-inspired and built around a tiny mouse with a whip and a serious underground problem.

In a year full of giant announcements, Mina is the kind of indie success story that feels especially satisfying.
