Moss: The Forgotten Relic lands on Switch 2 and Switch July 16

Moss: The Forgotten Relic now has a July 16 release date for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. That is good news for players who like their fantasy adventures intimate, charming and built around tiny heroes doing brave things in oversized worlds.

Moss already made a name for itself in VR, but bringing its world more fully to Nintendo platforms gives it a different kind of reach. The Forgotten Relic is being sold digitally on both Switch 2 and Switch, making it a clean handheld-friendly fantasy adventure for summer.

The important challenge is translation. Moss originally worked because its perspective and presence created a special connection with Quill. On a standard screen, the game needs to preserve that warmth through animation, puzzle design and character charm. If it does, July gets a very elegant little adventure.
