Mousebusters is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on June 25, bringing Odencat’s cute-and-spooky horror adventure to more players. The title has a perfect little hook: ghosts, mice, apartments and the kind of haunted-house energy that looks adorable until something unpleasant starts staring back.
Odencat has built a reputation around compact, emotional and quirky games, so Mousebusters’ appeal is not only in the horror label. It is in the contrast between small characters, strange environments and stories that may hit harder than the art style first suggests.
Switch in particular feels like a natural home for this kind of short-form adventure. If Mousebusters balances charm, creepiness and emotional payoff, it could become a nice late-June handheld surprise.
