N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO has been announced, which is excellent news for players who enjoy platforming with the emotional texture of repeatedly touching an electric fence. The N series has always been about purity: simple movement, deadly levels, clean physics and the terrifying realization that the only thing between success and failure is your own timing.
Bringing the series to PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2 and PC gives it a strong modern platform spread. The challenge is adding enough new material to justify the return without bloating the formula.
N works because it is precise, stripped-down and cruel in a way that still feels fair. If N PLUS INFINITY TIMES TWO respects that design discipline, it could become a perfect “one more level” nightmare for precision platformer fans.
