Nintendo Switch Sports Resort confirms 100 Pin Bowling

Nintendo has confirmed that the fan-favorite 100 Pin Bowling mode is making a return in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. The announcement has brought a wave of nostalgia for fans of the original Wii Sports, where clearing massive pin layouts was a popular challenge. The game is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026, with full motion controls.

The 100 Pin Bowling mode utilizes the Joy-Con's motion sensors to deliver precise control, letting players test their spin and power against a dense grid of pins. Nintendo has polished the physics and visual effects to match the capabilities of modern hardware, making the chaotic collisions look better than ever. The developers hope this classic mode will bring families together for living-room gaming sessions.

Adding recognizable classic modes is a key part of Nintendo's strategy for Sports Resort. The game aims to build on the success of its predecessor by offering a mix of new activities and returning favorites. Players are already clearing space in their living rooms ahead of the October launch.
