OPUS: Prism Peak confirmed for PS5 later this year

OPUS: Prism Peak is coming to PlayStation 5 later this year, giving console players another chance to discover one of 2026’s more quietly acclaimed narrative adventures. The game has already attracted strong praise on Switch and PC, and its PS5 announcement during BitSummit gives it a welcome second burst of attention.

OPUS has always worked best when it blends emotional storytelling, atmosphere and slightly surreal exploration rather than trying to out-muscle bigger adventure games with scale. Prism Peak seems to continue that tradition, focusing on photography, memory, identity and the strange places people end up when life has gone sideways.

For PS5 owners, this is not the loudest upcoming release, but it may be one of the more interesting ones if you like reflective games that actually sit with you after the credits. In a year full of giant sequels, a well-made smaller story can still cut through the noise.
