Paralives launches into Early Access after long delay

Paralives finally enters Early Access today, and for life-sim fans this is a big moment. The indie project has spent years positioning itself as the charming, community-built alternative to the big dollhouse giants, with flexible building tools, detailed character creation and an open-world town structure.
Its original December 2025 Early Access date was pushed to May 25, 2026 after playtest feedback showed the Live Mode needed more polish and activities. That delay may turn out to be wise.
Life sims are not just games; they are little chaos engines where players expect building, relationships, careers, hobbies, pets, personality and emergent nonsense to all behave at once. Paralives does not need to beat The Sims on day one, but it does need to feel stable, creative and promising enough for Early Access players to believe in the roadmap. If it lands well, this could become one of the most important indie simulation launches of the year.
