PAX West continues today at the Seattle Convention Center, with the main expo floor scheduled to operate from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM Pacific. More than a single publisher showcase, the event brings together major companies, independent developers, hardware makers, tabletop publishers and community organizations. Sega, Bandai Namco, Konami, NIS America, Larian Studios and numerous smaller developers are among the companies represented this year. Saturday is traditionally one of the convention's busiest days, and several of the weekend's most notable developer panels are scheduled during today's program.
Tens of thousands of attendees packed the convention halls as the doors opened this morning, filling queues for marquee presentations, hands-on gaming kiosks, and community tabletop tournaments. In addition to major video game publishers, PAX West's sprawling show floor features extensive PC hardware showcases, virtual reality experiential pods, and dedicated retro arcade free-play lounges.
Saturday's programming includes major developer talks from Atlus, Square Enix, and Firaxis Games, highlighting upcoming blockbusters and celebrating multi-decade franchise anniversaries. The convention continues through Labor Day Monday, September 7. Follow our live event dispatches on [/news](/news) and track new game announcements on [/release-radar](/release-radar).
