PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium are getting a busy June lineup, with Sonic X Shadow Generations already available and Final Fantasy 16 joining on June 16. That is a strong one-two punch for higher-tier subscribers: fast mascot nostalgia with Shadow’s brooding time-hop drama on one side, and Square Enix’s cinematic dark fantasy action RPG on the other.

Subscription lineups matter because they are increasingly part of how players decide what services remain worth paying for. A month like this gives Sony a clear value story, especially after a crowded showcase season where everyone is fighting for attention and money.
