Quake: The Board Game Turns the FPS Into a Dungeon Crawler

One of QuakeCon's more unusual announcements is Quake: The Board Game from Archon Studio. The tabletop adaptation turns the classic first-person shooter into a cooperative dungeon crawler built around card-driven movement and combat. Players collect familiar weapons and power-ups while miniature versions of Quake's creatures populate the board. An optional Deathmatch mode brings competitive play into the package as well. Bethesda says the tabletop game is expected to begin arriving in the fourth quarter of 2026.
