Rayman Legends Retold Switch 2 report adds dragon flight and story details

Rayman Legends Retold is sounding more ambitious than a simple remaster, if the latest report is accurate. The rumored Switch 2 release reportedly includes 3D sections with Star Fox-style gameplay where players fly on the back of a dragon and shoot enemies, plus new story additions.

That is a bold swing because Rayman Legends was already nearly perfect as a 2D platformer. Adding 3D segments could make the package feel genuinely new, or it could become the part everyone politely tolerates before going back to the good bits.

The report also suggests a game-key card retail release, which may annoy collectors who want a proper cartridge. Ubisoft has not officially confirmed the project yet, but if Rayman is really returning with both Origins and Legends news, next week could be unexpectedly big for platformer fans.
