Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition has apparently leaked through the Xbox Store, because Ubisoft’s limbless hero has chosen chaos as his marketing strategy. The listing was reportedly posted and then pulled, with an absurd placeholder price of $2,000.
That almost certainly was not the real price unless Ubisoft has decided Rayman is now fine art. The interesting part is that this follows separate chatter around Rayman Legends Retold, suggesting Ubisoft may be preparing a proper Rayman revival push.
Rayman Origins remains one of Ubisoft’s best modern 2D platformers: gorgeous animation, fast movement, brilliant co-op energy and a sense of joy that the company does not always remember it is capable of producing. If Origins and Legends are both returning, the key question is whether Ubisoft is simply repackaging them or genuinely rebuilding Rayman’s future.
