Rivage launches August 13 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC
Rivage has locked in an August 13 release date for PS5, Xbox Series and PC. The science-fiction puzzle adventure comes from Opus Major and is the kind of smaller showcase title that can easily get buried under Xbox-sized announcements unless it has a clean hook.
The pitch points toward mystery, environmental problem-solving and a sci-fi setting that hopefully does more than place glowing doors in metal corridors. Puzzle adventures live on pacing and atmosphere. If the puzzles are too obvious, the story carries too much weight.
If they are too obtuse, players start blaming the furniture. Rivage now has a summer slot where it can stand apart from the giant franchise noise. The real test will be whether its world feels like a place worth investigating rather than just a sequence of locked rooms with dramatic lighting.
